challenging red runs, with one taking you all the way back to Zermatt.
plan a day trip to Cervinia (inc. in area pass) and try the 8km run

skiers should try the challenging blacks, fantastic off-piste and
guaranteed snow (its a glacier resort). try europe's longest and most
difficult mogul slopes (the trifti). or, have a go at the gun-barrel
Tiefbach descent, the Schwarzsee, Stockhorn and Klein Matterhorn for
challenging steep descents. |

guide to experience the many powder bowls and couloirs. heli-boarding
is popular here. head over to the Rotenboden snowpark for jumps with
tables, halfpipe, quarter and bumps. beginners should head for the
long,gentle slopes high on the mountain. |
