Madonna di Campiglio is a chic and stylish resort which enjoys a picturesque setting, nestled amongst pine trees and a series of beautiful lakes.

Madonna di Campiglio is set in a narrow, sheltered sunny valley in the Brenta Dolomites.

The resort is built in a traditional style. The resort originated as a shelter for travellers crossing the alpine passes. It later developed into a favourable summer resort for the Austrians. A Habsburg carnival is held each march. The Ferrari Formula One conference is held here every January.

The resort is rated as Italy's premier resort for piste grooming. It is an excellent choice for beginners and intermediates. Snow boarding is very popular, boasting the best boarding in Italy.
