beginners
****
excellent ski school for all ages, even for those as young as 4. good nursery slopes and a number of lifts which are free. There aren't many better resorts in which to learn to ski. There are so many green and very easy blue runs up the mountain. two of the best places are the whole of Solaise - Madeline, Glaciers etc, and the Grand Pré area.
intermediates
*****
runs ranging from gentle blue and reds of the Bellevarde and La Daille to the Le Fornet glacier. Runs ideal for confidence building.

*****
giant moguls, steep black runs, couloirs and sensational off-piste skiing. Try the Olympic Men's Downhill run, or the waist high snow bumps. Don't miss the powder bowls of the Tour de Charvet and the runs from the Pissaillas glacier.
snowboarding
****
check out the Palafouf lift and the board park in Val which are full of kickers and hits to suit all. Try the Tomeuse chair and the Vallee Perdu for freeriding.
